Laura Caruso has been married to her husband Brett for 23 years and is mom
to Kaylyn, an honors student at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Laura
met her husband at the University of Central Florida, where she graduated with
a degree in Radio Television. She has 10 years’ experience in Public Relations
and also served 8 years as co-director of TEAM Home School Cooperative in
St. Cloud, Florida.
Involvement in home education ignited a renewed love of learning . . . and an
enthusiasm for recovering and teaching the foundations of America’s history
and government – the untold true stories and first principles of our nation.
Today Laura provides instructional support for home educating families by
teaching classes in American History, American Government, and Latin and
by leading field study tours to important historic sites, from the shores of
St. Augustine and Jamestown to the gun batteries of Yorktown Battlefield
and the storied halls of the U.S. Capitol building.
Her passion for investing in young people led Laura to serve three years as the Florida State Coordinator for TeenPact Leadership Schools, a nation-wide organization committed to teaching young people to understand the political process, value their liberty, defend their Christian faith, and impact the culture. During the last presidential election cycle she also worked as a Field Director for Florida Family Action, the legislative arm of the Florida Family Policy Council. Visit her website here.
